Gondul pillar

Göndul is a young human woman who wears her long, thick blond hair in a massive braid. She usually wears a flimsy see-through shift that does nothing to conceal or support her huge breasts, which she cinches with a belt (the shift, not her breasts). A well-worn leather scabbard hanging from this belt holds the runestruck longsword Balmus, next to a seemingly bottomless cloth bag. A short, diaphanous silver-trimmed cloak hangs about her shoulders; a silver falcon with a gleaming pearl for an eye dangles from the clasp. She wears sandals, and light guards on her forearms and shins; she also wields a heavy steel shield called Svalin, painted with Freya’s falcon. A simple white gold ring, engraved with a shield, adorns one finger of her right hand.

When going into battle, Göndul summons a runestruck mithral breastplate, which presses her boobs together with enough force to create a small gravitic anomaly. Her voice can be heard belting out battle hymns over the din of any fray, her Asgardian accent unmistakable.

Göndul got bored one day, so she decided to go out and kick some ass.

The orphan Göndul was raised in an Asgardian hall. Her soul favored by Freya, the goddess of love and fertility, Göndul was trained in erotic and sensual love, and the practices of magic, battle, and song.

Around the time Göndul came of age and completed her training, a visiting wizard’s apprentice named Jenneleth (who turned out to be a vigorous and creative sexual partner) introduced her to the Society of Sensation, a faction whose philosophy fit neatly with her own. They set out to explore the Great Ring together, but only got as far as Olympus.

When Jenneleth went missing after a particularly raucous orgy, Göndul gathered a few like-minded adventurers and set out to find her. The trail led them down Mt. Olympus to Midgard, where they faced slavers, orcs, trolls, derro, kuo-toa, and even a dragon before saving Jenneleth.

While her fellow adventurers continued the assault on the underground city of Shaboath, Göndul and Jenneleth have returned to the Outer Planes, not willing to miss an upcoming fertility rite in Alfheim…

Exuberant and passionate, Göndul believes that life favors the bold and the clever in all things, and that nothing could be better than a glorious death in battle. (And if she dies in battle with giants, so much the better.) She throws herself into danger without fear; if Göndul is in, she is ALL in. She never half-asses several things when she can whole-ass one thing.

Göndul speaks plainly, with no capacity for lying. The enemy of her friend is her enemy, and the enemy of her enemy could be her friend. She’s accustomed to Asgardian hospitality in the face of darkness and cold, even with no family of her own. She’s more willing to help others than many Asgardians, which has won her no friends among the Fated.

Her love of Freya, the Lady of Fire, is her whole life. She loves gold, cats, battle hymns, duels, and romantic poetry, finding beauty in magic and magic in beauty. She enjoys the company of dwarves, elves, and bariaur.

She is also fond of fucking. Whether it’s the intimate lovemaking she’s shared with Jenneleth, the bacchanalian abandon of a Sensate gang-bang, or the quickie with that one dark-haired man at the tavern in Midgard that one time, Göndul loves sex. She doesn’t have a “type,” per se, but she only responds to passionate people.

“Thor’s hammer! It’s a smörgåsborgy!”
“Is it my passion that scares you? Or is it your own?”
“Giants! I hate these guys.”
“Why should I fear death? I’ve seen where my soul’s going.”
“I’ll carve the blood eagle on that troll-fucker’s back!”
“Asgardians do it till the Twilight of the Gods.”
